Tutorial to get your theme to work
23. User Roles
WordPress uses a concept of Roles, designed to give the website owner the ability to control and assign what users can and cannot do in the site.
Each Role is allowed to perform a set of tasks called Capabilities. These capabilities determine what the role is able to do in the site. For further details, please see the Roles and Capabilities page in the WordPress Codex.
Dottoro theme comes with several custom capabilities that allow you to control who can access the custom post types registered by the theme (news, portfolio, slides, etc.), manage general theme settings and much more.
To make this process easier for you, the theme features a simple Role Editor that highlights the Dottoro capabilities. You will find it under Theme Options » User Roles.
