The Dottoro Theme Updater plugin notifies you about the available theme updates, but maybe even more important, it ensures updating the skins along with the themes.

The updater plugin is an automation tool that updates your Dottoro themes and migrates their skin settings to the updated ones.
The plugin works in single and multisite WordPress installations as well.
You will find the available theme updates among the default WordPress Theme updates, where you can update your themes in the standard way.
You need to purchase a Standard or Developer Package to update your Dottoro themes.
We strongly advise against manually updating to update via the Theme Updater.
When you manually update your theme, the skin settings of all your sites that use the theme will be overridden with the skin settings of the new theme!
Steps

Download the theme updater zip file.

In your WordPress Admin Panel, go to Plugins » Add New.

You will find an "Upload Plugin" button here. Click on it, then click on "Choose File" and select the downloaded theme updater zip file.

Activate the plugin.

You will need a service key to use the plugin. You can request a service key on your account page on Dottoro.com under 'Service Keys'.
If you have a service key just set it on the plugin settings page (under 'Appearance' > 'Dottoro Updater' in single, and 'Plugins' > 'Dottoro Updater' in multisite WP), and you are done.
Note: you can use the same service key for different Dottoro services, such as for Theme Editor access and the Theme Updater plugin.

The Theme Editor requires the latest version of the Dottoro theme. When a new theme version is launched, you need to update your theme to be able to use the Theme Editor.
The Theme Updater plugin checks for updates every 12 hours, but you can force it to check for updates by clicking the "Check Now" button under Appearance » "Dottoro Updater" in single, and Plugins » "Dottoro Updater" in multisite WP.
